Sir.—Re Mr Pi G. Moore's explana. tion of the way in which the Suspension Committee have been " had," will you allow me briefly to remark that at the request of Mr Richard Welsh I applied to Mr Moore for the County Roll, and that a roll purporting to bo the County Roll w,as handed to me by the County Clerk, which roll I copied in the County iOffice, and the copy therefrom was handed by me to the Suspension Committee, who I believe we're guided by.it in obtaining signatures. It will therefore be seen that if .the County Clerk, supplied me with what I asked for. l must have copied the County Roll. - I am (tc, A. Hathaway.
