THE MOUNTAIN IN LABOR.
Taupo, Friday, Between ten and 12 on Wednesday morning fifteen shocks of earthquake were experienced here. At 4.50 p.m. yesterday ono very severe shock was felt, mul between 4 and 5 p.m, slight shocks wero felt at short intervals, At 7 this morning there was another severe shock.
Wellington, Friday, In consequence of ill health Mr W, H, Levin has resigned his seat foy Thornilon in the Efouse of Representatives.
