Mr Whiteford, R.M., this day, Walter Gibson, lessee of two runs in this district, was tiiiecl'ld per head on 40,000 infected sheep, although the Sheep Inspector/'admitted defendant has done all that was possible to eradicate the scab.' Defendant, since he came into possession of the run in 1881 has spent a large sum of money in the endeavor to stamp out the,infection, one-half of the flock being really clean.
