Passengers can be booked at Stations only on condition that there is room in the Train, Children under three years of a"e travel free; above three and under twelve years of age, half-price. Horses, Carriages, &c.—The Eailway Department does not undertake to forward Horses and Carriages by any particular Traiu, but when sent they must be at the forwarding station balf-an-hourbeforethe departure of the Train. The owners of horses must provide means for securing them in tho horsebox, and the Railway 1 Department will not be accountable for any injury sustained through their breaking loose or otherwise, nor will it undcrtako to carry unbroken or llcrses. At Country Stations requisitions forhorse boxes or carriagotrucks must bo made the day before they are wanted. Dogs must be provided with chains, or other sufficient means of securing them. They will not be allowed in carriages, and the owner must obtain a ticket, to be given up beforethe end of the journey, before the doe; is delivered. Return or Periodical Tickets will not be available for Special or Excursion Trains, except the Ordinary Time Table is suspended, Parcels and Goods forPipitea, Kaiwarra, Ngahauiangn, Belmont, Hayward's, Silver Stream, Wallaoeville, Summit, Cross' Creek, Pigeon Bush, Fernside, Woodside, and r.t Wag Stations, must be Prepaid, ,ud will be put out on the platfurms of those Stations at the risk of tho Consignee. Special No;ice—To ensure despatch,, Parcels, Extra Luggage, and Dogs must be at the Station at least Thirty Minutes before advertised time of departure of Train.

The Railway Department does not pledge itself to the despatch or arrival of the Trains at the exact times notified in the above Tables, and in the event oi any cirsumstauces arising cither during or prior to the journey being made which may render it impossible or inexpedient for a Train to pro ceed, will return the Pares paid, but does not undertake to forward the passengers.
