Constable Madden v John Eglington.—Breach of the peace at Tanberinikau racecourse on the 22nd instant. Henry Waito was also charged by Constable O'Eouilto with breach of the peace by lighting with the other defendant, The occurrence arose out of Waitc demanding Is as fee for Egli.igton going into a paddock hired by Waite, anil Eglington refused to pay, Defendant was fined 20s and Waito 10s.
Constable H. Smith v James McDonoll.—ln this case defendant was charged with having on the 24ili inst. stolen some applss, valued at Is from the garden of Mr M, I!, Cave, nt Tauherinakau. On payment by defendant of Is as (lis value of the apples, 20s as expenses of witnesses, and 20s to go to the hospital funds, he was discharged from custody.
