The Fiihor Comedy and Burlesque Co. opened in the Theatre Royal, Masterton, lest night to a very fair house; the back seats being especially well filled. The performance began with Planche's beautiful burletla "The Swiss Collide," in wiiiob Min Jessie Howard, as Lizetlo Gieritein, performed remarkably well. After an intorval of about ton minutes thero was a musical olio, most of the performers having to reappear. Miller deserves severe censure for not calling medical aid earlier.

Witness and deceased came here from Auckland under the name of Mr and Mrs Hetherinp;ton. On arriving in Wellinj>ton they took their proper names.
