Passengers can bo booked at Stations only on condition that there is room in tho Train, Children under tbree years of age travel free; above tbree and under twelve years of age, half-price Horses, Carriages, &c—Tho Railway Department does not undertake to forward Horses and Carriages by any particular Train, but when sent thoy must be at tho forwarding station half-an-hourbeforotho departure of tho Train. The owners of horses must provide moans for securing them iu tho horsebox, and the Railway Department will not bo accountable for any injury sustaim d through their breaking loose or otherwise,nor will it undcrtako to carry unbroken or vicious _ Horses, At Country Stations requisitions forhorse boxes or carriagetrucks must be made the day before they are wanted.

Dogs must bo provided with chains, or other sufficient means of securing them. Thoy will nut bo allowed in carriages,, and the owner must obtain & ticket, to be given up before the ond of the journey, before the dog; is delivered. Return or Periodical Tickets will hot bo available for Special or Excursion Trains, except the'Ordiriary Time Table is suspended, ... Parcels and Goods for Pipitea, Kaiwarra, Ngahauranga, Belmont, Hayward's, Silver Stream, Wallaoevillo, Summit, Cross' Creek, Pigeon Buph, Foroside, Woodside, and at Mag Stations, must be Prepaid, and will bo put out on the platforms of those Stations at the risk of the Consignoe.
