(Before W. H. Beetham, J.P.) ' ■ Thomas Hagaii pleaded guilty to being drunk on the previous ovening 1 and was lined ton shillings or twentyfour hours. Two boys named George Purcell and Peter Neilsen were charged with being found at half past five this morning in the garden of Mr W, Francis, The accused pleaded guilty, and said they went into the garden for raspberries, • The Court said that the fact of their being in the garden ut all laid them open to imprisonment. Alter- lecturing the lads and receiving from them promises of good behaviour, the cases were dismissed, The police reported that Neilsen had been an inmate of the Burnham Industrial School, and had previously been in a similar trouble.
