To bo run under the Wairarap'a Jockey Club Rules. The Saddling Bell will ring at 11.30 each day, and the first raeo 6tart at 12 o'clock. The time for starting each ovent will be duly posted on the cour.-se after each preceding race. So person will bo allowed to onter a horso for any raco (hack races excepted) unloss ho do a subscriber of at least £1 to the raco fund. All entries to be niado in writing, scaled and addressed to the secretary, entrance money enclosed, with.name, ago 1 at time of entry, and pedigree of the horse, namo of the owner, and colors of the rider. In all nominations for handicaps the previous performances are to be given. All jockeys to ride in proper racing costume, and any jockey riding except in colors entered will bo fined 2 sovs. No entry will bo accepted' unless aoco in panicrl with tho amount of entranco money Nor will any entry bo received aftor the hour named under any pretence whatever, No entry will be received for any of the races except upon this condition: That all disputes and objections aiising out of the races shall be decided by a majority of the stewards present, or thoso whom tlioy may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with tho carrying out of this programnio shall bo final. In case of a protest, the same must bo lodged with the secretary within fifteen minutes after the race is run, with a deposit of £2, such deposit, to bo forfeited if the protest be found trivial or voxatious. All district races District Hurdles, Ladies' Bracelet, included, aro open only to horses within tho boundary of tho Taueru nvor, Hat Point, and Waimata streams, and owned by bona fide residents for three months previous to the datt of these races. Nominations for handicaps, genoral entries, and acceptances will be received by the secretary at the Tinui Hotel on the following dates:—Nominations for all handicap races at 8 p.m, on Tuesday, February 19th; Weights declared (except for Forced H:~p) at the Club Hotel, Masterton, on Saturday. February 23rd, at 9.30 p.m., aid published on Monday, February 25th. Acceptances and general entries close on FEIDAY, 29th February, at 7 p.m. Weights for Forced Handicap declared on courso after District Handicap is run. A penalty of 71bs to bo carried by the winner of any Maiden Plate aftoi ontry for these races. No entry will be received after hours and dates mentioned either by letter or telegram. A " flack" horse is one in actual use as a hack, which has not been.in training for six months previous to tho iiie'etihg, and which has not, duriug that period, been nominated for, entcrod for, or run {or other-that hack races.
