ODD FELLOWSHIP.
The usual half-yearly meeting of the District Officers and Delegates was held Yesterday at the Mnstertou' Lodge room, Their business was to appoint the incoming officers and also general business, In the evening the officers held a purple lecture, at which about a dozen candidates received the degree, After that coreraony was over the brethren adjourned to the diiiim?. room of the Empire Hotel, were ample justice was done to the good things provided by Brother Host Thompson. There were between thirty and forty present, the Chair being occupied bv Bro, Max Lowentha],, Jtf.li!' of the Jlasterton Lodge, supported r on his right by Bro. Pierce, Provmcisi Grand Master, and on his , ] ..leifc.bj%'*Bro.,-E. Bannister, District Corresponding Secretary, The usual'toasts were given, full justice to, being the Queen, and Royal Family j the Board of Directors, &c., which were duly responded to, andalso interspersed with songs from the brothers and selections kindly given by the Masterton String Band. .
