To te run under tho Wairarapa Jockoy Club Rules, The Saddling Bell will ring at 11.30 each day, and the first race start at 12 o'clock, The tamo for starting eacli event will be duly posted on tho couwo after each preceding race. No porson will bo allowed to enter a horso for any race {hack raws excepted) unless ho bo a subscriber of at least £1 to fie race fund. Three entries or the public money will be withheld. No scratching of horses allowed, unless through the secretary, and fifteen minutes beforo tli9 timo of starting. Tho starter has tho power to place fractious or kicking horses, or disobedient jockeys in any position ho thinks necessary to aecuro a fair start, All entries to bo made in writing, sealed and addressed to the secrotary, entrance money enclosed, with name, age at time of ontry, and podigrco of the horse, namo of the owner, and colors of tho rider, In all nominations for handicaps the previous performances are to bo given, All jockeys to rido in proper racing costumß, and any jockey riding oxoept in co.'crs entered will bo fined 2 sovs. No ontry will bo accepted unto acco in panied with tho amount of entrance money Nor will any entry be received after the hour named under any pretenco whatever, No entry will be received for any of the races except upon this condition: That all disputes and objections aiising out of the races shall bo decided by a majority of tho Btowards present, or those whom they may appoin't'. Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall bo final. In case of a protest, the same must be loilged with the secretary within fifteen minutes after tho race is run, with a deposit of £2, such deposit to bo forfcitsd if tho protoit be found trivial or vexations. All district races District Hurdlos included, arc open only to horses within the boundary of the Taueru river, Hat Point, and Waiaata streams, and owned by bona fide residents for three months previous to the dais, of these races, Nominations for handicaps, general entries, and acceptances will be received by tho secretary at the Timii Hotel on the following dates:—Nominations for all handicap race 3 at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, February .'9th j Weights declared (except for Forced Handicap) at the Club Hotel, Master ton, on Saturday. February 23rd, at 9.30 p.m., and published ou Monday, February 25th. Acceptances and general entries close on FRIDAY, 29th February, at 7 p.m. Weights for Forced Handicap declared on course after District Handicap is run. A penalty of 7lbs to be carried by the winner of any Maiden Plate after entry for these races, No ontry will bo received after hours and dates mentioned either by letter or telegram.
