No person will be allowed to enter a horse for any race (hack races excepted) unless lie bo a subscriber of nt least U to t'ic race fund. Three entries or the public money will bo withhold, No scratching of horses allowed, unless through the secretary, and ilftceu minutes before tlio time of starling, The starter has the power to placo fractious or kicking horses, or disobedient jockeys iu any position he thinks necessary to secure a fair start, All entries to bo raado in writing, scaled and addressed to the secretary, entrance money enclosed, with name, ago at time of entry, and pedigree of the horse, name of the owner, and colors of the rider. 11l all nominations for handicaps the previous performances are to be given, All jockeys to ride in proper racing costume, and any jockey riding exempt in co!crl entered will be fined 2 sovs. No entry will bo accepted unless acco m panied with the amount of entrauco money Nor Will any entry bo received after the hour named under any pretence whatever, No entry will be received for any of the races except upon this condition : That all disputes and objections aiising out of the races shall bo decided by a majority of the stewards present, or those whom they may appoint Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of this programme- shall bo final. In case of a protest, the tamo must be lodged with the secretary within fifteen minutes after the race is run, with a deposit of £2, such deposit to bo forfeited if the protait bo found trivial or vexatious. Nominations for handicaps, general entries, and acceptances will be received by the secretary at the Timu Hotel on the following dates:—Nominations lor all handicap racc3 at 8 p.m, on Tuesday, February 19th; Weights declared (except for Forced landicap) at the Club Hotel, Mastcrton, on Saturday. February 23rd, at 9.30 p.m., and published on Monday, February 25thAcceptances and general entries close on PP.IDAY, 20th Febmary,at7p.m. Weights for Forced Handicap declared on course after District Handicap is run. A penalty of 711)3 to be carried by the winner of any Maiden Plate after entry for these races.
