MASTERTON-FRIMY. (Before H. S, iYaedbll, R.M.) Charles Korth was brought up on remand charged with forgery, His Worship gave the accused tho usual caution, and asked him if he had anything to say in defence On the accused replying in the negative, his Worship said that he had remanded him for the purpose of making enquiries into his previous charactar and asked the accused if he was tho individual who was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment for forgery at Nelson; The accu«od admitted the fact. . Ho was then committed to take his trial for forgery and attempted utterance at the Supro.no Court sitting in Wellington on Monday noxt, The witnesses in the case being bound over to appear.
