RULES AND REGULATIONS. All entries must be made subject to tho condition that all. disputes, claims and objections arisinj out of tho racing shall bo decided by a majority of Stewards present, or whom they may appoint, and that such decision shall be final and binding in all Nominations for Handicap Hurdle lluco, Taratahi-Carterton Jockey Club Handicap, and Anniversary Handicap, to bo made in writing, stating name, pedigree, performances, description and age of horse and the colors of rider, and to bo sent iu accompanied by the nomination fee to the Hon. Secretary, 0. H, Giles, Carterton, on or before THURSDAY, the 3r,1 January, 1884, at 9 p.m. • Weights to he declared on or before TUHSDAV, Bth January, 1884 and published in the local newspapers. Acceptances and general entries to be made on or before WEDNESDAY, 16th January, 1884 at 9 p.m. Three exit iesor thepub'ic money will bo withheld.
