Keuter's Telegrams. LONDON, December 21, The Homeward mails via Suez and Brindisi, dated Wellington, November 8, were delivered here yesterday. PARIS, December 20. The latest intelligence from Tonquin, reports that Yoeduc has assumed the title of King of Anam, with the support of a large proportion of the inhabitants. His successor is, however, strongly opposed by the remainder of the Anamese, and much excitement prevails at Hue in consequence of the antagonism of the two parties. It is probable that the preservation of peace will be undertaken by the French commander, and that tho capital will be occupied by a strong garrison of French troops.
LONDON, December 20, Received December 21, 2,25 p.m.— A portion of the frozen mutton ex British Queen was sold this morning at an avorage of sjd per lb, Tenders for the New South Wales 4 per cent loan of three millions were opened to-day, The total amount offered was £7,690.000. Tenders at IOOf will receive 96 per confc, and tenders above that will be allotted in full amount. Humors to the offect that the number of British troops in Egypt is to bo increased has received official denial. The Royal Dublin Regiment of Fusiliers, who are under orders for Egypt, are only going as reliefs for troops whose period of foreign service has concluded.
PARIS, December 20. Tko reported occupation of Soutay by French troops is denied, The latest despatch to hand states that the French captured the outposts at Soutay only after a stubborn fight, in which they lost fifteen officers and two hundred men, the enemy's loss being very heavy. The assault on Soutay fortress takes plade on the 17th inst.
