All entries must bo made subject to tho condition that all disputes, claims and objections arisine out of the raciug shall bo decided by a majority of Stewards present, or whom thoy may appoiut, and that Mich decision shall be final and binding in all cases, Nominations for Handicap Hurdle Race, Taratahi-Cartcrton Jockey ■' Club Handicap, and Anniversary Handicap, to be made in writing, stating name, pedigree, performances, description and ago of horse and the colors of rider, and to be sent in accompanied by the nomination leo to the Hon. Secretary, 0, H. Giles, Carterton, on or before THURSDAY; tlieSr.Uanuary, 1884, at 9 p.m. Weights to bo declared on or before TUESDAY, Bfch January, 1884, and published in the local newspapers. (3), It must never havo been entered for any other race the advertised stake of which being moro than £SO. (4). It. must not for 2 years previous to the Race Meeting havo started for any race except Hack or Hack Hurdle Raco. (5). .It must never havo won any raco except a Hack or Hack Hurdle Race. (J. H.
