Mr Gray for Plaintiff, Mr Bunny for defendant, This was a claim arising out of alleged detention by defendant of certain cattle, the property of the plaintiff. Several witnesses were called on either side, and the case occupied the Court for some hours. The Court gave judgment against the defendant for £2O and costs £9 ss.

James and Mary Duncan v Edmund H. Buckeridge.—Possession of tenement &c, £lO. Mr Gray for plaintiff. Defendant conducted his own case. , Plaintiff nonsuited with costs. £5 18s/ ..-, Ttew were several other cases whioh were settled out of Court.
