The installation of tha W.M. and R.W.M, of the English and Scotch Masonio Lodges and tho investiture of officers took place at the Masonic Hall, Bannister-street, last tvening, There was a large attendance of brethren, the P.M.'s present being Bros, E, T. W, Barker, Leinster Lodge, 1,0,, D, Mcintosh, Masterton Lodge E.G., J, H. Corbett, Thistle Lodge, Masterton, S.C., A. Gray, W,M, and officers of the Greytown Lodge, E,C, Tho English ceremony was conducted by Bro. Gillon, who acted as installing officer, and invested the following brethron with their respective insigaias of office for the onsuing twelve monthsl.P.M, Bro. R, Brown, W.M. Bro,W.Lowes,S,W. Bro. R, Hosie, J.W. Bro. W. P. Roydhouse, Treasurer, Bro. R. M, Galloway, Secretary, Bro. R. Fitton, Organist, Bro. W.Rapp, S.D. BrO. S. H. Wickeison, J.D. Bro S, Kingdon, LG. Bro James Thompson, Tyler, Bro W.T, Robins, Bro Price acted as installing officer for the Thistle Lodge, and invested the following officers:-R.W.M. Bro J. Kaye, D,M, Bro J.Nicol.S.W. Bro G. S, W. Dalrymple, J.W, Bro D, Pickering, Treasurer, Bro F, Gray, Secretary, tiro J, Bentley, S.D. Bro W. Rapp, J.D. Bro A. W. Hogg, I,G, Bro H. Bentley, Tyler, Bro Richards. A banquet was held subsequently at tho Club Hotel, when between thirty and forty brethren sat down to a first-class repast provided in Bro Elkins' well-known excellent style, Aftor full justice had boen done to the good things provided, the usual loyal and Masonic toasts wero duly honorod, interspersed with songs by several brethren, the company separating about 11,30, after spending a very enjoyable evening,
