At Auckland, ran second to Perfume for the Bacing. Club Handicap, giving bim two years and lOlbs. Won Auckland Derby, and ran second to Ariel for the Auckland Cup-Ariel, 4 years, Bst 21bs; Danebury, 3 years, 7st 121bs. At the Dunedin Autumn Meeting, ran second for the Derby, having behind him Fallacy, Bribery, Hippocampus, and several others. As a 4 year old, carrying top woight, won the Waitaki Cup, County Plate, J.C. Handicap, and Champagno Stakes, welter weight for ago, At Geraldino he won the Cup and J.C. Handicap, carrying top weight. At Asaburtou ho won the Cup, carrying top «eight. At tho Canterbury Metropolitan Meeting, carrying Sat 71bs, ran third in the C.J.C. Handioap, won byMata, 6st 51b; Ariel, 5 years, Bst 101b, second. Eau second to Tump Card, for tho C.C. Plate, after a desperate raeo of two miles, giving him llllbs j time, 3min, 44sec. At Tauherenikau, won Wairarapa Stakes, 3 miles, beating Lara and Otupia, ho carrying 9st w.f.a. Ban seeond to his stablo companion, Mufti, 6at filbs, in tho W.J.O. Handicap (this race he could have won easily had ho been allowed). As a 5-year old at the Canterbury Metropolitan Meeting he won the Free Handicap, oarrying top weight, 9st, one mile, beating Foul Play, Camballo, Sinking Fund, Luua, Lara, and others; titn'o, Imin 46sec, Won tho Railway Plate, weight for ago, halfmile, and the Metropolitan Handicap, carrying Bst 41b, 1} miles, having behind him Fish-hook, Ariel, Longlands, Natator, Bribery and others. As a 6-year old served at a stud.
