Administrator was scratched. The owners of Sir Goorgo have entered a protest against the Poet on the ground of a cross. Consolation Handicap of 30 sovs; 1 mile and a distance. Odd Trick 1 Mountain Deer... .. 2 Treasurer 3 Dan, Bst 101b, was scratched. Mountain Deer took the lead, closely attended by Treasurer and Odd Trick. At the back of the course Treasurer went to the front, and looked an easy winner, when he collided with a horse that had strayed on to the course, and the two came'down. Odd Trick then got ahead and won easily. Tho second and third horses in the. Hutt Park Spring Handicap have been disqualified on the grounds of passing inside a post. The Club will consider at a meeting whether to pay second | and third money over to the horses which finished fourth and fifth. OPAKI RACES.
