The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) have received the following telegram from their London office, dated 24ih instant:—-Wool—Competition is increasing, and the market is firmer. Home buyers are purchasing freely, but foreign buyers are not operating with spirit. Op to date 37,000 bales have been sold. For long staple merino, scoured, the market is firmer.
