The Saddling Bell will ring at 11.30 each day, and tho first raco start at 12 o'clock. Tho timo for starting each event will be duly posted on tho course after each preceding race. Hack Races are open to horses that never won an advertised race other than Hack Races; or that have not run for an advertisod race tor six months previous to date of masting, The District Race is open to all horses owned in the district at least six months previous to this raco meeting. In case of a protest the same must bo lodged with the Secretary within 15 minutes after the race has ken run, with a deposit of £2, such deposit to be forfeited if the protest be found trivial or vexatious. The winner of 'the first day's Hack Race will not be allowed to run for the ono on the second day. No person will bo allowed to enter a horse for any raco (Hack Raco exceptod) unless ho be a subscriber of at least £1 to the race fund. No scratching of horses allowed, nnless through the Secretary, and fifteen minutes beforo the time of starting. Entries for Maiden Plato and nominations for Railway Plate Handicap, Opaki Stakes Handicap, District' Handicap, and Hurdle Handicap to be made in writing and addressed to the Hon. Secretary, Masterton, not later than 9 o'clock on THURSDAY ovening, NOVEMBER Bth. Entrance money enclosed with name, age at the time of entry, pedigree, and in the case of handicaps, performances of tho horse, name of owner, and colors of tho rider. Any jockey riding except in tho colors entered will be fined 2 sovs. No entries will bo received after that night either by letter or tolexnm. Weights for Railway Plate Handicap, Opaki Stakes Handicap, and Handicap Hurdloa to be declared at Club Hotel on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 21st, at 8 o'clock p.m. Acceptances for same to bo declared on Thursday evening, November 29th at 9 o'clook, Weights for the District Handioap to be declared at the Club Hotel at 8 o'cloek on the evening of the first day's races. Acceptances for same will close same ovening. Nominations for Consolation Handicap to bo mado to the secretary fifteen minutes after the District Handicap is ran. Weights to be declared fifteen minutes after the nominations have closed; and acceptances will close fifteen minutes after the weights have been declared.
