To be run under the the Masterton. Opaki Jockey Club Rules. The Saddling Bell will ring at 11,30 each day, and the first race start at 12 o'clock. The time for starting each event will be duly posted on the course after each preceding race. Hack Races are open to horses that never won an advertised race other than Hack Races; or that have not run for an advertised race tor six months previous to date of meeting. The District Race is open to all horses owned in the district at least six months previous to this race meeting, In case of a protest the same must be lodged with the Secretary within 15 minutes after tho race has been run, with a deposit of £2, bucli deposit to be forfeited if the protest be found trivial or vexations. The winner of the first day's Hack Rac9 will not bo I allowed to run for the one on the second day, No person will he allowed to enter a horse for any race (Haok Race excepted) unless he be a subscriber of at least £1 to the raco fund. No scratching of horses allowed, unless through tho Secretary, and fifteen minutes before tho time of starting. Entries for Maiden Plate and nominations for Railway Plate Handicap, Opaki Stakes Handicap, District Haudioap, and Hurdle Handicap to be mado in writing and addressed to the Hon. Secretary, Masterton, not later than 9 o'clock on THURSDAY evening, NOVEMBER Bth. Entrance money aiclosed with name, age at the time of I entry, pedigree, and in the case of handi-' caps, performances of tho horse, name of owner, and colors of the rider. Any jockey riding except in the colors entered will be fined 2 sovs. No entries will bo received after that night either by letter or telegram. Weights for Railway Plato Handicap, Opaki Stakes Handicap, and -Handicap Hurdles to be declared at Club Hotel on WEDNESDAY, NOYEMBER 21st, at 8 o'clock p.m. Acceptances for Baino to be declared on Thursday evening, November 29th at 9 o'clock, Weights for the District Handicap to be declared at the Club Hotel at 8 o'clock on tho evening of the first day's rawsAcceptances for samo will close same evening. Nominations for Consolation Handicap to be mado to the secretary fifteen minutes after, tho District Handicap, is ran. Weights to be declared fifteen minutes after the nominations have closed; and acceptances will close fifteen minutes after the weights have been declared.
