EDLES AND REGULATIONS. To bo run under the the MaetortonOpaki Jockey Club Rules, The Saddling 801 l will ring at 11.30 each day, and tho first raco start at 12 o'clock. The time for starting each ovent will be duly posted on the course after each preceding race. Hack Races are open to horses that never won an advertised race other than Hack Bates; or that have not run for an advertised race tor six months previous to datool mooting, The District Eace is open to all horses owned in tho district at least six months previous to this race meetiug. In case of a protest the same must be lodged with the Secretary within 15 minutes after tho race has been run, with a deposit of £2, such deposit to bo forfeited if the protest be found trivial or vexatious. The winner of the first day's Hack Eace will not be allowed to run for the one on the seeond day. No person will be allowed to enter a horso for any raoe (Hack Eace excepted) unless he be a Bubseriber of at least £1 to tho raco fund. No scratching of horses allowed, unless through the Secretary, and fifteen minutes before tho time of starting. Entries for Maiden Plato and nominations for Eailway Plato Handicap, Opaki Stakes Handicap, District Handicap, and Hurdle Handicap to be made in writing and addressed to the Hon, Secretary, Masterton, not later than D o'clock on THURSDAY evening, NOVEMBER Bth. Weights for the Distriot Handicap to be declared at the Club Hotel at 8 o'clock on the evening of the first day's races.Acceptances for same will close same evening.
