Tho following nominations for the Wellington Cup, 1884, wre recoiled last night:—

BobbotL's Libeller and Musketeer; Mr J. Stevens' b f by Planter-Mystery Girl j Mr I Korr's Miss Juan; Messrs Mason and Vallance's Epicure and Torquoiße; Mr C, H, Owen's SirGeorgo; Mr 0, Redwood's Refrigerator; Mr P, F. Tancred's Odd Trick, Tho Administrator, and The Consul; Messrs Robinson and Lance's Ohevoit, Salvage, Vanguard, Master Agnes, andOudis; Mr S. Powell's Bayard, and Lebnessa; Mr G. Eraser's Sir Bedevere;; Mr H. Smith's Tim Whffler and Hippodamia; Mr G. Bates' The Poet, Minerva, and The Painter; Mr A. J. Keith's Buzzard, Hippona, and Shan (late Constellation) j Mr J. Pilbrow's Wolcomo Jack,_ and Envious. Last year tho .nominations numbered 35; the above therefore, shows an improvement of two; Weights will be declared on Monday, 26th inst., by Mr J. S. Evett, the handicapper for tho olub. Tho stewards of the Wellington Racing Club are to be congratulated on tho very excellent entries received for their Cup of 1884. All the best blood in tho colony is represented, and If Mr Evott is as successful in apportioning the weights as ho has been in other handicaps, the next Summer Meeting at tbeHutt Park course promises to be one of tho best over held in tho colony.
