RULES AND REGULATIONS. To be run under the the MastertonOpaki Jockey Club Rules, The Saddling Bell will ring at 11.30 each day, and the first race start at 12 o'clock. The time for starting each event will bo duly posted on the course after each preceding race. Hack Eaceß are open to horses that never won an advertised race other than Hack Races; or that have not run for an advertised race tor six months previous to date of meeting. The District Race is open to all horses owned in the district at least six months previous to this race meeting. Inoaseofa protest the same must be lodged with the Secretary within 15 minutes after the race has been run, with a deposit of £2, sueh deposit to be forfeited if the protest be found trivial or vexatious, The winner of the first day's Hack Eace will not he allowed to run for the one on the second day, No person will bo allowed to enter a horse for any race (Hack Eace excepted) unless he be a subscriber of at least £1 to the race fund. No scratching of horses allowed, unless through the Seoretary, and fifteen minutes before the time of starting, Entries for Maiden Plate and nominations for.
