As they entered the straight Sardius led the field by two lengths, Martini being next, followed by Off Color. At the distance Martini shot to the front and came to tho post an easy winner, by two lengths from Sardius; Hurricane, third j Off Color fourth; Archie fifth under severe punishment, Mowed by Napier, Signor, Little Sister anJ Vernet, in the order named.
