To be run under the tho MastertonOpaki Jockey Club Rules. The Saddling | Bell will ring at 11.30 each day, and the' first race start at 12 o'clock. The time for starting each evont will be duly posted on the course after each preceding race. Hack Races are open to horses that never won an advertised race other than Haok Races; or that have not run for an advertised raco tor six months previous to date of meeting. The District Eace is open to all horses owned in tho district at least six months previous to this raco meeting, In oase of a protest the same must bo lodged with the Secretary within 15 minutes after the race has been run, with a deposit of £2, suoh deposit to be forfeited if the protest be found trivial or vexatious. The winner of the first day's Hack Race will not bo allowed to run for the ono on the second day, No person will be allowed to outer a horse for any race (Hack Race excepted) unless he be a subscriber of at least £1 to the race fund. No scratching of horses allowed, unless through the Secretary, and fifteen minutes before the time of starting.
