The Saddling Rell will ring at 11.30 each day, and the first race Btart at 12 o'clock. The time for starting each event will bo duly posted on the courso after each preceding race, Hack Races are open to horses that never won an advertised raco other than Hack Races; or that have not run for an advertised race tor six months previous to date of meeting, The District Race is open to all horses owned in the district at least six months previous to this race mcctiug. In case of a protest the same must be lodged with the Secretary within 15 minutes after the race has been run, with a deposit of £2, suoh deposit to be forfeited if the protest be found trivial or vexaliouß. The winner of the first day's Hack Race will not be allowed to run for the one on the second day. No person will be allowed to enter a horse for any race (Hack Race excepted) unless he he a subscriber of at least £1 to the race fund. No scratching of horses allowed, unless through tho Secretary, and fifteen minutes boforo the time of starting, Entries for Maiden Plate and nominations for Railway Plate Handicap; Opaki Stakes Handicap, and Hurdle Handicap to be mado in writing, and addressed to the Hon, Secretary, Masterton, not later than 9 o'clock on THURSDAY evening, NOVEMBER Bth. Entranco money enclosed with name, age at the time of entry, pedigree, and in the case of handicaps, performances of the horse, name of owner, and colors of the rider. Any jockey riding except in the colors, entered will bo fined2sovs. No entries will be received after that night either by letter or telegram. Weights for Railway Plate Handicap, Opaki Stakes Handicap, and Handicap Hurdles to be declared at Club Hotel on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 21st, at 8 o'clock p.m. Acceptances for same to bo declared on Thursday evening, November 29th at 9 o'clock. Weights for the District Handicap to be declared at tho Club Hotel at 8 o'clock on tho evening of the first day's racesAcceptances for same will close same evening. Nominations for Consolation Handicap to bo made to the secretary fifteen minutes after tho District Handicap is run. Weights to be declared fifteen minutes after tho nominations have closed; and acceptances will close fifteen minutes after the weights have been declared. Horses walking over will receive fifty per cent only of the stakes,
