HULES AND REGULATIONS. To be run under the the MastertonOpaki Jockey Club Rules. The Saddling Bell will ring at 11,30 each day, and the first race start at 12 o'clock. The time for starting each event will be duly yosted on tho course after each preceding race. Hack Eaccs are open to horse's that never won an advertised race other than Hack Bucos; or that have not run for an advertised race tor six months previous to date ol meeting, The District Race is open to all horses owned in t-ho district at least six months previous to this race meeting. In case of a protest tho fame must be lodged with the (secretary within 15 minutes after the race has bcou ruu, with a deposit of £2, such found trivial or vexatious. The winner of the first day's Hack Race will not. bo allowed to run for the one on the second day, No person will be allowed to enter a horso for any race (Hack Raco excepted) unless 1.8 ho a subscriber of at least £1 to the raco fund. No scratching of horses allowed, unless through the Secretary, and fifteen minutes before the time of starting. Entries for Maiden Plate and nominations for Railway Plato Handicap, Opaki Stakes Handicap, and Hurdle Handicap to be rnado in writinp;, and addressed to ,the Hon, Secretary, Masterton,' not later than 9 o'clock on THURSDAY evening, NOVEMBER Bth. Entrance money enclosed with name, a»e at the time of entry, pedigree, and m the caso of handicaps, performances of tho horso, name of owner, and colors of the rider. Any jockey riding except in the colors entered will be fined 2 sovs. No entries will bo received after that night either by letter or telegram. Weights for Railway Plate.Handicap, Opaki Stakes Handicap, and Handicap Hurdles to be declared at Club Hotel cm WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 21st, at 8 o'clock p.m. Acceptances for same to be declared on Thursday evening, November 29th at 9 o'clock. Weights for the District Handicap to be declared at the Club Hotel at 8 o'clock on the evening of the first day's racesAcceptances for same will close same evening. Nominations for Consolation Handicap to be made to the secretary fifteen minutes after tho District Handicap is run.; Weights to bo declared fifteen minutes after tho nominations have closed; and acceptances will close fifteen minutes after the' weights have been declared.
