RULES AND REGULATIONS. To be run under the the MastertonOpaki Jockey Club Rules. The Saddling Bell will ring at 11,30 eaoh day, aud the first race start at 12 o'clook, The time for starting each event will be duly posted on the course after each preceding race. Hack Races are open to horses that never won an advertised raoe other than Haek Races; or that has run for an advertised race tor six months previous to date of meeting, The Distriot Race jb open to all horses owned in the district at least Bix months previous to this race meetiug, In case of a protest the same must be lodged with the Secretary within 15 minutes after the race has been run, with a deposit of £2, sunh deposit to be forfeited if the protest be found trivial or vexatious, The winner of the first day's Hack Rac9 will not be allowed to run for the one on the second day, No porson will be allowed to enter a horse for any race (Hack Race excepted) unless Le be a subscriber of. at least £1 to the race fund. No scratching of horsos allowed, unless through the Secretary, and fifteen minutes before the time of starting.
