As a 4 year old carrying top weight, won the Waitaki Cup, County Plate, J.C. Handicap, and Champagne Stakes, welter weight for age. At Geraldine he won the Cup and J,C. Handicap, owning top weight. At Ashbnrton he won the Cup, carrying top weight, At the Canterbury Metropolitan Meeting, carrying Bst 71bs, ran third id tho 0.J.0. Handicap, won b/Mata, 6st 51b; Ariel, 6 years, Bst 101b, second. Ban seooud to Trump Card, for the C.C. Plate, after a desperate race of two miles, giving him 19lbs j time, Bmin, 44see. At Tauherenikau, won Wairarapa Stakes, 3 miles, beating Lara and Otupia, ho carrying flat w.f.a. Ban second to his stable companion,. Mufti, 6st Bibs; in the W. J.C. Handicap (this race he could have won easily had he been allowed). As a, s.year old at the Canterbury Metropolitan Meeting he won the Free Handicap, carrying top weight, 9st, one mile, beating Foul Play, Camballo, Sinking Fund, Luna, Lara, and others ; time, Imin 4Cseo. Wonthe Railway Plate, weight for age, halfmile, and the Metropolitan Handicap, carrying Bst 41b, U miles, having behind him Fish-hook, Ariel, Longlands, Natator, Bribery and others. As a 6-year old served at a stud. As a 7-year old (and while performing stud duties) he won the Lyell's Bay Cup, carrying 9et 121b, 1} miles, and the Wairarapa Jookey Glib Handicap, 2 miles, carrying 7st lOlbs, b a canter.
