Mr Parker secured an encore by a spirited song, and Miss Beard waß enthusiastically encored for a brilliantly played piano solo, whioh, from a musical point of view, was the gem of tho programme. A duet sang very sweetly by Miss Jupp and Miss Lowes came next, and was re-demanded. Mr Moore, who was suffering from cold and not quite in his usual form, managed to do justice to" The Brave Old Oak," and Mas Anketell, kindly replacing a missing vocalist, rondered a very successful ballad. The sensation of the evening was the last piece on thejist " Drink Puppy Drink," a song and ohorus sustained by Mrllapp and Bomo dozon boys whom, he had drilled most effectively. It bronghtdown the house and sent everybody home in nood humor. We hear an indignation meeting of ihe Masterlou Volunteers is to be held this evening.
