The letter under the above headiug in the Star of 21st inst, signed " Settler," boars the very impreaa of the individual who penned it, ./It ia pre-eminently typical oi the whole man—a man who stands a head and shoulders above his fellow men for all kinds of deceit—tainted with a moral leprosy of the most loathsome type, and in which he has wallowed for many years. Such a letter fortunately defeats its own ends.
