lIY KIiEOTIUO TKfjEQIUFfI—COPVItIGIIT LONDON, August 15. Telegrams aro to hand from Gibraltar, reporting that the steamer Gliarjee, bound from London to Australia, ran into and sank the steamer Welwyn near Cape St. Tincent. The Ghaijec put into Gibraltar to repair damages. All the passengers and crew of the Welwyn were rescued before the vessel went down.
The Homeward Suez mails, dated' Melbourne July 2nd, were delivered here yesterday, In the House of Commons last night the Bankruptcy Bill was undei consideration, and was finally passed.
