Passengers can be booked at Stations only on condition tlwt thore is room in the Train. Children under three years of age travel f ree; above and "under twelve years of age, half-fare. " • Horses, Carriages, &o.—The Railway Deparfinont.:(inea uot : undertake to forward Horseß and Oairiages by any particular Train, but when sent they must be at tha forwarding station half-an-hour beforo the departure of the Train. The owners of the Horses must provide means for securing them in the horse-box, and the Railway Department will not be accountable for any injuries sustained through their breaking loose or otherwise, nor will it undertake to carry unbroken or vicious Horses. At Country Stations requisitions for horse-boxes or carriage-trucks must be mado the day Wore they are wanted, ' Eoga mußtbe provided with chains, or other sufficient means of securing them. They will not, bo : allowed in carriages, and the sender must obtain a ticket, to be given up before the ond of Ihe journey, boforo the dog is delivered. Return or Periodical Tickets will will not i available for Special or Excursion Trains, except the ordinary Time Table is Return Tickets for distances not exceeding 25 miles are available on the day of issue only; for each additional 25 miles, or fraction thereof, one day extra is allowed. Ordinary Single Tickets issued on Saturdays and Sundays are available as Return Ti kets until the end of the following Monday. Parcels and Goods—For Pipitea, Kaiwarn, Ngaliauranga, Belmont, Hay ward's,; Silver Stream, Wallaceville, Summit, Cioss' Creek, Pigeon Bush, Fornside, Woodside, and at Flag Stations, must he Prepaid, and will he put out on the platforms of thoße Stations at the risk of the Consignee. Special Notico-To ensure despatch, Parcels, Extra Luggage, and Dogs must be at the Station at least Thirty Minutes beforo advertised time of departure of Train. Tho Bail way Department does not pledge itself to the despatch or arrival of tho Trains at the exact times notified in the above Tables, and in the event of any circumstances arising either during or prior to the journey being made which may render it impossible or expedient for a Train to proceed, will return the Fares paid, but does not undertake to forward passengers. Luggage,—Each passenger, is allowed to take Iliilbs of personal luggage free (not including merchandise of any kind), and for every sGlbs above this weight, for evory BO miles or fraction of 50, miles, the oharge will be Qno Shilling, Np luggage will be allowed to be taken into the Carriages, unless of such a size that it can 1 be placed under the stat without inconvenience to other pas geiUj.
