Passengers can be booked at Stations only on condition that there is room in the Train. Children under three years of age travel free; above and under twelve years of age, half-fare. : Horses, Carriages. Ac.—The Railway partmerit does not undertake to forward Horses and' Catriages by any particular Train, but when sent they must be at tho forwarding station half-on-hour before the departure of the Train. The owners of the Horses muit provide means for securing them in tho horse-box, and tho Railway Department will not be accountable for any injuries sustaiaed through their breaking loose ,01* otherwise, nor will it undertake to carry unbroken or vicious Horses, At Country Stations requisitions for horse-boxes or carriage-trucks must be made tho day before they are wanted. I?ogs must be provided with chains, or other sufficient means of securing them. They will not bo allowed in carriages, and the sendor must obtain a ticket, to be given up before tho cud ef ihe journey, before the dog is delivered. Return or Periodical Tickets will will not bo availabh for Special or Excursion Trains, except the ordinary Time Table is suspondtd, . Return Tickets for distances not exceeding 25 miles are available on the (jay of issue only; for each additional 25 miles, or fraction thereof, one day extra is allowed Ordinary Single Tipkets issued oil Saturdays and Sundays are available as Roturn Tickets until tho end of the following Monday, Parcels and Goods—Foryipitea, Kaiwarra, Ngahauranga, Belmont, Hayward's; Silver Stream, Wallaeeville, Summit, Cioss 1 Creek, Pigeon Bush, Fernside, Woodsido, and at Hag Stations, must bo Prepaid, and will bo put out on the platforms of those Stations at the riak of the- Consignee. Special Notico-To ensure despatch, Parcols, Extra Luggage, and Dogs must be at the Station at least Thirty Minutes before advertised time of departure of Train. The Mirny Department does not pledge itself to.the despatch or arrival of the Trains at the exact times notified in tho above Tables, and in the event of any circumstances arising either during or prior to the journey being 1 made wliioh may render it impossible or expedient for a Train to proceed, will return the Fares paid, but does not undertake to forward passengets. Luggage.—Each passenger is allowed to take 112lbs of personal luggage free (not including merchandise of any kind), end for every 561bs abovo.this weight, for overy 50 miles or fraction of 50 miles, tho charge will be Qno Shilling. No luggage will.be allowed to bo taken into tho Carriages', unless of such a size that it can be placed under the seat without inconyenience to other passengers.
