Passengers can be booked at Stations only 011 condition tliat thero is room in the Train. Children under three years of age travel f reo; abovo and under twelve years of age, half-fare. Horses, Carriages, &c.-The Railway Department* does not undertake to forward Horses and Cairiages by any particular Train, but when sent they must bo at the forwarding station half-an-hour before the departure of the Train The owners of the Horses must provide means for securing them in the horse-box, antf the Railway Department will not be accountable for any injuries sustained through their breaking loose or otherwise, nor will it undertake to carry unbroken or vicious Horses. At Country Stations requisitions for horse-boxes or carriage-trucks must be made the day before they aro wanted. Togs must be provided with chftipa, qt other sufficient means qf securing thorn. Tbey will be allowed in carriages, and the sender rqust obtain a ticket, to be giver* up before tho eud of the journey, bofqre the dog is delivered. Upturn or Periodical Tickets will will not be available for Special or Excursion Trains, except tho ordinary Timo Table Return Tickets for dimness not exceeding 25 miles are available on the day of issua floly) for each additional 25 miles, or fraction thereof, one day extra id allowed Ordinary Single Tickets issued on Saturdays and Sundays are available as Return Tioketß until tho end of tho following Monday, Parcels and Goods—For Pipitea, Kaiwarra, Ngahauranga, Belmont, Hayward's, Silver Stream, Wallaceville, Summit, Cioss' Creek, Pigeon Bush, Fernside, Woodside, and at Hag Stations, must bo Prepaid, and will be put out on the platforms of those Stations at the risk of the Consignee. Notioo-To onsure despatch. Parcels, Extra Luggage, and Dogs must be at the Station at least Thirty Minutes boforo advertised time of departure of Train. The Eailway Department does not pledge itself to the despatch or arrival of the Trains at the exact times notified in tho abovo Tables, and in the event of any circumstances arisiug eitlior during or prior to the journey being made which may render it impossible or expedient for a Train to proceed, will return the Fares .paid, but does not undertake to forward passengers.
