Passengers oan be booked at Stations only, on condition that there is room in the Train, Children under three years of ago travel free; above and under twelve years of age, half-fare, Horses, Carriages, &c.-The Railway Department does not undertake to forward Hoi'B6B and Oai riagoa by any particular Train, but when sont they must bo at the forwarding station half-on-hour before the departure of the Train. The owners of. the Horses must provide means for scouring them in the horse-box,! and,the Railway Department will not bo accountable for any injuries sustained through their breaking loose or otherwise, nor will it undertake to carry unbroken or vicious Horses. At Country Stations requisitions for horse-boxes or carriage-trucks must bo made the day before they are wanted. Hogs must be provided- with chains, or other sufficient means : of securing them. Tbey will not be allowed in carriages, and the sender must obtain a ticket, to be given up before the eud of Jxe journey, before the tlo« ia delivered. Return or Periodical Tickets will will not be available for Speoial or Excursion Trains, except tho ordinary Time Tablo is suspended, Kufcum Tickets for distances not oxcoeding 25 miles are available on the day of issue only j for each additional 25 miles, or fraction thereof, one day oxfcra is allowed, Ordinary Single. Tickets issued on Saturdays and Sundays aro available as Return Tickets until the end of the following Monday. . ■ Parcels and Goods-For Pipitea, Kaiwarw, Ngahauranga, Belmont, Hayward's, Silver Stream, Wallac6ville, Summit, Cioaa' Creek, Pigeon Bush, Fernside, Woodside, and at flag Stations, must ha Prepaid, and will bo put out on the platforms of those Stations at the risk of the Consignee. Special Notico-To ensure ' despatch, Parcels, Extra Luggage, and Dogs must be at-the Station at least Thirty Minutes before advertised time of departure of Train. The Pailivay Department does not pledge itself to the despatch or arrival of the Trains at the exact times notified in the above Tables, and in the event of any circumstances arising either during or prior to the journey being made which may render it impossible or expedient for a Train to proceed, will return the Fares paid, but does not undertake to forward passengers. Luggage.-E&oh passenger is allowed to take II Dibs of personal luggage freo (not including merchandise of any kind), and for every sGlbs above this weight, for every 50 miles or fraction of 50 miles, the charge will be one Shilling. No luggage will be allowed to oc taken into the Carriages, unless of such a size that it can be placed under the seat without inconvenience to other passehgers.
