Passengers can be booked at Stations only on condition that there is room in the Train. The owners of the Horses miißt provido means for securing them in the horse-box, am 1 the .liaihvay Department will not bo accountable for any injuries sustained through their breaking loose or otherwise, nor will it uudertake to carry unbroken or vicious Horses, At Country Stations requisitions for horse-boxes or carriage-trucks must bo made the day before tliey aio wanted. Eogs must be provided with chains, or nther sufficient means of securing them. Thoy will not ho aLowed in carriages, and the Bender must obtain a ticket, to bo given up before the eud of ihe journey, beforo the dog is delivered. Return or Periodical Tickets will will not be available for Special or Excursion Trains, except the ordinary Timo Tabic is suspended, Return Tiokcts (or distances not exceeding 25 miles are available on the day of issus only; for each additional 25 miles, or fraction thereof, ono day extra is allowed. Ordinary Single Tickets issued on Saturdays and Sundays arc available as Return Tickets until the end of the following Monday. Parcels and Goods—For Pipitea, Kaiwarra, Ngahauranga, Belmont, Haywar.l's, Silvor Stream, Wallac6ville, Summit, Cioss' Creek, Pigeon Bush, Femside, Woodside, and at Flag Stations, must bo Prepaid, and will bo put out on the platforms of thoso Stations at the risk of the Consignee. Special Notice—To ensure despatch, Parcels, Extra Luggage, and Dogs mu;; bu at tho Station at least Thirty Minutes before advertised time of departure of Train. The Railway Department does not pledge itself to the despatch or arrival of tho Trains at the exact times notified in the above Tables, and in the event of any circumstances arising either during or prior to the journey being mado which may render it impossible or expedient for a Train to proceed, will return the Fares paid, but does not undertako to forward passenKers.
