AN EXTRAORDINARY EXHIBITION.

The St. Petersburg Times, of i$L February, publishes a curious account * of an exhibition that is being held in the Museum of that city, the partial- : lav attraction of which is "the wild man of the wood," pronounced to be the wonder oi.the world. This halfsavage peasant boy, of .14 years of age, is a native of Koskama, and, despite the mass of hair covering his whole body, including also the face, is besides being in possession of all his senses, considered to be even intelligent. The features of the " wild man," according to the critic of the St, Petersburg Times, are almost bear-like in appearance. He is about starting on a tour round the world, which engagement is to last several years, On exhibition also at the same building,'wo; learn, there is a Madame Kattarina Kitz, the" mouth actress." This lady was bom without hands or feet, and yet does all kinds of needlework, using the scissors and the needle . with yher mouth in an' astonishingly' adroit manner. And to force a trio of human curiosities, there is a Belgian painter, Jean de Henau, who came into the world without hands, and elicits especial'interest owing to his draughtsmanship, The stage of the museum is given up to the seances held' bythose distorted individuals, and in a striking contrast to this part of the exhibition tho other portions of .the building are filled with art treasures of great value, whereas in one of the upper rooms dissolving views attract . the juvenile, seetiqn of,tho visitors. If. "variety iV 'the 'pleasure- ! seekers of St Petersburg are to be congratulated,
