Passengers can be booked at Stations only on condition that there is room in tho Train. Children under three years of ago travel tree; above and under twelve years ol age, half-fare. Horses, Carriages. Ac—The Railway Department does not undertake to forward Horses and Carriages by any particular Train, but when sent they must bo at tho forwarding station half-an-hnur before the departure of the Train. The owners of the Horses must provido means for securing them in the horse-box, ant 1 the llailway Department will not ho accountable for any injuries sustained through their breaking loose or otherwise, nor will it undertake to carry unbroken or vicious Horses, At Conntry Stations requisitions for horse-boxes or carriage-trucks inußt be mado tho day before tliey are wanted. Togs must be provided with chains, or other sufficient means of securing them. They will not bo al owed in carriages, and the sender miiat obtain a ticket, to be given up before the end of ihe journey, before the dog is delivered. Return or Periodical Tickets will will not be availably for Special or Excursion Trains, except tho ordinary Time Tabids Return Tickets for distances not exceeding 25 miles aro available on the day of issus only; for each additional 25 miles, or fraction thereof, one day extra is allowed, Ordinary Single Tickets issued on Saturdays and Sundays are available as Return Tickets until the end of the following Monday. Parcels and Goods-For Fipitea, Kaiwarra, Ngahauranga, Belmont, Haywar.l's, Silver Stream, WallacGville, Summit, Cioas' Creek, Pigeon Bush, Fernside, Woodside, and at Flag Stations, must bo Prepaid, and will be put out on the platforms of those Stations at tho risk of tho Consignee. Special Notico-To onsuro despatoh, Parcels, Extra Luggage, and Dogs must be at tho Station at least Thirty Minutes ud'oiu advertised time of departure of Train. The Railway Department does not pledge itself to the despatch or arrival of the Trains at tho exact time 3 notified in tho above Tables, and in tho event of any circumstances arising cither during or prior to the journey being mado which may render it impossible or expedient for a Train to proceed, will return the Fares paid, but does not undertake to forward passengers. Luggage.—Each passenger is allowed to take 112lbs of personal luggago free (not ineluding raerchandiso of auy kind), and for every sClbs abovo this weight, for every 50 miles or fraction of 50 miles, the charco will be ono Shilling. No luggago will bo allowed to be taken into tho Carriages, unless of such a sizo that it can bo placed under the etat without inconyonioiico to other passengers. Posscngers are strongly recommcuded to havo their Names and the Station to which thoy are proceeding distinctly marked on thoir Luggage, and to satisfy themselves that His placed on tho Train, as the Railway Department will not be responsible unless it is booked and paid for.
