Passengers can be booked at Stations only on condition that there is room in tho Train. Children under three years of age travel free; above and under twelvu years of age, h&lf.fare. Horses, Carriages, &o.—Tho Railway Department does not undertake to forward Horses and Carriages by any particular Train, bat when sont they must bo at the forwarding station half-an-hour before the departure of the Train. The owners of the Horses must provide means for securing them in tho horse-box, and the Railway Department will not be accountable for any injuries sustained through their breaking loose or otherwise, nor will it undertako to carry unbroken or vicious Horses, At Country Stations requisitions for horse-boxes or carriage-trucks must be niado the day before they aro wanted. Dogs must be provided with chains, or other sufficient means of scouring them. They will not bo allowed in carriages, and tho sender must obtain a ticket, to be given up before tho eud of Ihe journey, beforo tho dog is delivered. Return or Periodical Tickets will will not be available for Special or Excursion Trains, except the ordinary Time Table is Return Tickets for distances not exceeding 25 miles aro available on the day of issue only; for each additional 25 miles, or fraction thereof, one day extra is allowed Ordinary Single Tickets issued on Saturdays and Sundays are availablo as Return Tickets until the end of the following Monday. Parcels and Goods—For Pipitea, Kaiwarra, Ngahauranga, Belmont, Hay ward's, Silver Stream, Wallac6ville, Summit, Cioss' Creek, Pigeon Hush, Femside, Woodsido, and at Jt'lag Stations, must be Prepaid, and will bo put out on the platforms of tboso Stations at tho risk of tho Coiisignec. Special Notico-To ensure il-spatih, Parcels, Extra Luggage, and Dogs mnst be at tho Station at least Thirty Minutes before advertised time of departure of Train, The Railway Department docs not pledge itself to tho despatch or arrival of tho Trains at tho exact times notified in tho above Tables, and in the event of any circumstances arising either during or prior to the journey being made which may render it impossible or expedient for a Train to proceed, will return the Fares paid,' but doc 3 not undertake to forward passengers. Luggage.—Each passenger iB allowed to take 11211)8 of personal luggage free (not including merchandise of any kind), and for every Sb'lbs above this weight, for every 50 miles or fraction of 50 miles, the charge will bo One Shilling, No luggage will be allowed to be taken into tho Carriages, unless of tuch a size that it can bo placed under the seat without inconyenienco to other passengers, Possengers are strongly recommended to have their Names and the Station to which tbey aro proceeding distinctly marked on their Luggage, and to satisfy themselvefl that it is placed on the Train, as the Railway Department will not be responsible unless it is booked and paid for,
