LONDON, July 4, Sir William Gull, the onnnent physician and the author of a report on cholera, compiled for tho Royal College of Physicians, has written a letter to the Pross, in which he states his belief that the outbreak of cholera in Esjypt will soon subside, and that in his opinion, the reports to hand Bhow (he disease exists only in the milder form, and is not the malignant epidemic known as Asiatic cholera. BRISBANE, Thursday. Received July 5, 12,50 p,m.-The decision of the Imperial Government to repudiate the annexation of New Guinea haa caused dissatisfaction in the colony. The .Premier stated in the Assembly _ last night that he would leave nothing 'undone to carry out the desire of the colonies, and he had no doubt the Imperial Government would ultimately consent.
