GREYTOWN TRUST LANDS.

The usual - monthly meeting of the Trustees• was held, at the Council Chambers, Grey town on 'Wednesday evening. Present—Messrs Baillie (Chairman), Haigh, aud Wood. ■ . .The minutes of previous meeting , were read and confirmed. : '

■ Correspondence outwards was read from the letter book. ' ' Inwards—From Colonial Secretary, re election of Trustees; from Beard and Gray advising the Trust in the matter of Wakeliji and Hawkins j from Captain Tully asking' for ■ permission to have ; a gymnasium in the hall .on drill nights; from Clerk of Masterion Trust, asking for returns. . • • It was resolved that notice be given to Messrs Wakeiiniand: Hawkins, before taking action in.the matter:of waste, 6n. property of the Trust. It was resolved that the request of Capt, Tully be.granted, provided that he becomes responsible.for any ; damage done to the hall. '' i : V The Clerk was instructed to reply to the Masterton Trust, f It was '.resolved' that owing to the absence of Mr T,- Keinpton, jun., from meetings, hu appointment ns Trustee and Treasurer has become forfeited, and that Mr R. Bright jun;, be appointed Trustee, andilhat Mr BaiHie beTreasurer. An account.for rates £6 whs passed for payment.
