Children under three years of age travel free; above and under twelve years of age, half-fare, Horses, Carriages, &e.—The Railway Department does not undertake to forward Horses and Catriages by any particular Train, but when sent they must be at the forwarding station half-a before the departure of the Train. The owners of the Horses must provide means for securing them in the horse-box, ant' tho Railway Department will not be accountable for any injuries sustained through their breaking loose or otherwise, nor will it undertako to carry unbroken or vicious Horses, At Country Stations requisitions for horse-boxes or carriage-trucks must he mado the day before they ato wanted. Dogs must be provided with chains, or other sufficient means of securing them. They will not be allowed in carriages, and the sender must obtain a ticket, to be given, up before the end of die journeyj before the nog is delivered, Return or Periodical Tickets will will not be availabla for Special or Excursion Trainsi except the ordinary Time Table is suspended, Return Ticknia for distances not exceeding 25 miles are i.\ liable on the day of issus only j for eacii additional 25 miles, or fraction thereof, one iluy extra is allowed, , Ordinary Single Tickets issued on Saturdays and! undays are available as Return Tickets until the end of the following Monday. ■ Parcels and Goods—For Pipitea, Kaiwarra, Ngaliauranga, Belmont, JJaywari's, Silver Stream, Wallnceville, Summit, Cioss' Creek, Pigeon Bush, Kernside, Woodside, and at flag Stations, must bo ['repaid, and will be put out on the platforms of those Stations at the risk of tho Consignee, Special No'iw -To ensure despatch, Parcels, Extra Luggage, aud Dogs must be at tho Station at least Thirty Minutes before advertised timcof departure of Train. The I'aiLvay Department does not pledge itself to the dosputch or arrival of the Trains at the exact times notified in the abovo Tables, and in tho event of any circomstances arising either during or prior lo the journey being made which may render it impossible or expedient for a Train to proceed, will return the Fares paid, but does not undertake to forward passengets. Luggage.—Each passenger is. allowed to take lialbs of personal luggage free(not including merchandise of any kind), end for every sGlbs above this weight, for every 50 miles or fraction of 50 miles, the charge' will bo One Shilling, No luggage will be Allowed to bo taken into the Carriages, unless of such a size that it can be placed under the seat without iuconyenience to other passengers. • Possengers are strongly recommended to have their Names and the Station to which they are proceeding distinctly marked on their Luggage, and to satisfy themselves that it is placed on the Train, as the Railway Department will not be responsible unless it is booked and paid for, Paroels and Goods—From tho above Stations can ha made" To Pay" at Wellington, ■l'fctoni, Lower Butt, Upper Butt, Kaitoke, Feathtrstou Greytown, Carterton,aud Masterton.
