IONITED PKES3 ASSOCIATION . Christciiurch, Tuesday, On Thursday morning a man named Daniel : Paterson, employed at Mr Goodwin's farm at Green Park, was found dead at the foot of a ladder placed against the wall of the house. On examination the neck was found to be broken. An linquest was held on Friday, and an open verdict returned* Dunedin, Tuesday. The Times declares that the City Licensing Committees have agreed that in future they will allow no hotel in the city to keep open after \\ at night, and to striotly administer the Act.
