Passengers can bs booked at Stations only on condition that there is room in the Train. Children under three years of age travel i f ree; above and rader twelve yearß oi age, half-fare. Horses, Carriages. &c.-Thc Railway Department does not undcrtako to forward Horses and Gairiagea by any pavtioul&t Train, but when sont they must be at the forwarding station half-on-hour beforo the departure of the Train. The owners of tho must provide means for securing them in tho horse-box, am' the Railway Department will not be accountable for any injuries sustained through their breaking loose or otherwise, nor will it undertake to carry unbroken or vicious Horses. At Country Stations requisitions for horse-boxes or carriage-trucks must be made tho day before they aro wanted. logs must be provided with chains, or other sufficient means of securing them. They will not bo allowed in carriages, and tho sender must obtain a ticket, to be given up before the eud of the journey, before the uog is delivered. Return or Periodical Tickets will will not bo available for Special or Excursion Trains, except the ordinary Time Tabic is suspended, Return Tiche's for distances not oxceodrog 25 lmhs are i.\ ilableon the day of issue ouly; for one. additional 25 miles, or fraction thereof, One d.iy extra w allowed. Ordiuan -Single Tickets issued on Saturdays and (u.idays aro available as Return Tickets umil tho end of the following Monday. Parcels and Goods—For Pipitca, Kaiwarw, Ngahauranga, Eolmont, Jiaywari's, Silvor Stream, Wailacevillc, Summit, Cioss' Creek, Pigeon Bush, t'ernside, Woodside, and at flag Stations, must be Prepaid, and will bo put out on tho platforms of those Stations at the risk of tbo Consignee. Special Mo ijo -To ensure despatch,' Parcels, Extra Luggage, and Dogs must be at the Station at least Thirty Minutes before advertised time of doparture of Train. Tho Railway Department does not pledge itself to the despatch or arrival of the Trains at the exact times unified in. the. above Tables, and in the event of any circumstances arising either during or prior to the journey being made which may render it impossible or expedient for a Train to proceed, will return the Fares paid, bnt does not undertake to forward passengers. Luggage.—Each passenger is allowed to take 11 albs of personal luggage free (not including merchandise of any kind), end for every 561bs above this weight, for every 50. miles or fraction of 50 miles, the charge will bo Ono Shilling. No luggage will bo allowed to he takou into tho Carriages, ualobb of such a size that it can be placed under the stat without inconyenienco to othor passengers. Possongers.are strongly recommended to have their Namesand the Station to which thoy aro proceeding distinctly marked oh their Luggage, and to satisfy themselves that it is placed on the Train, as' the Railway Department will not be responsible unless it is booked and paid tor. .
