The picnic'in connection with the Sunday Scliuol of St Luke's IJhuroh, Greytown, was held on Monday.. in Mr O'Connor's paddock, and was an unqualified success. At one portion of the day there could not have been less than 250 present, including children and their friends. The teachers and others worked hard to moke things successful and succeeded. The children enjoyed themselves throughout the day with suitable-; games. In the evening a substantial- tea was prepared fur them to which ample justice was done. The Kev Mr White and Mrs ffhiia kindly invited a number of children who were not members of the Sunday School, and a ureat many availed them-. Pelves of the offer.
