LOOKING UP A BRIDEGROOM.
An amusing incident took place at . f St. George's Church, Shrewsbury, on ft recent occasion, A bridal party had' 1 1 been waiting at the Chufrch for some ■ considerable time for the bridegroom, who did not turn up. The clergyman took compassion on the bride, and : volunteered to go and look after the .bridegroom, .He .went to hia.mother's.,,— house, and asked where her son ; wag, She repliedj v!'He'is ;safe%ougi ■' .have him safe " stairs, and I shall not loose him.
